Over the past month, East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Narcotics agents have been investigating Terelle Willis, 29, AKA “Self Made Shark.”
Over the course of the investigation, agents conducted numerous controlled purchases of fentanyl from Willis and obtained search warrants for several locations.
Before executing those search warrants, Willis was arrested while inside of a local grocery store. EBRSO officials said Willis allegedly left his small child, about a year old, unattended and unrestrained inside of the vehicle with the drugs. Agents located the 17.2 grams of fentanyl inside of the seat pocket near the child. DCFS was contacted and notified of the issue.
On August 22, 2022, with assistance from the EBRSO SCAT, EBRSO K-9 and EBRSO intelligence, agents executed warrants at 13621 Honey Dr., 16351 Bristoe Ave., and 4710 Tartan Dr.
The following was located and seized:
– 17.2 grams of fentanyl
– 4 pounds of marijuana
– 18 dosage units of Oxycodone
– 14 dosage units of Xanax
– Taurus .45 caliber handgun
– 3 digital scales
– pill press
– blender with fentanyl residue
– documented currency utilized in the controlled purchases
Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics agents also executed a search warrant at 25613 Palmwood Ct. in reference to this investigation. They seized an amount of marijuana and fentanyl, as well as approximately $4,700 in currency (pending seizure).
Willis is charged with:
Distribution of Schedule 2 Narcotics (fentanyl) (4 counts, affidavit warrant)
PWITD Schedule 2 Narcotics (fentanyl)
PWITD Schedule 2 Narcotics (Oxycodone)
PWITD Schedule 4 Narcotics (Xanax)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
CDS in the Presence of a Minor
Child Desertion
