The Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office reports a 14-year-old boy was arrested in connection to an alleged threatening note found in the bathroom at the Pierre Part Elementary School on Wednesday.
After a thorough search of the school, no weapons were found. There were no more threats, and the school is back to its normal operating procedures.
Detectives took the juvenile into custody for the charge of “Terrorizing.”
The 14-year-old will be released to the custody of his parents.
The school administration will handle any disciplinarian measures.
