BATON ROUGE — A 14-year-old boy is dead following a shooting earlier this week, according to Baton Rouge police.
Eric Taylor was shot shortly before 8 p.m. on Nov. 13 in the 3300 block of Plank Road near Winbourne Avenue. Police say that Taylor was walking in the area when a vehicle approached him, and someone inside opened fire.
Taylor was transported to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries two days later.
