14-yr-old with autism missing since Lundi Gras

A 14-yr-old autistic boy was last seen leaving with an older man from Canal St. in New Orleans on Lundi Gras.

**AMARI THOMPSON, 14, DIAGNOSED WITH AUTISM**

The New Orleans Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding Amari Thompson, 14, who was reported missing Wednesday, March 2, 2022.

According to investigators, the 14-yr-old is autistic and was last seen by a group of friends near 1 Canal Street during Lundi Gras on Monday, Feb. 28, 2022.

Thompson is 109 pounds, 5’4″ in height, brown eyes, black hair, last seen wearing a black shirt, black hoodie with blue horizontal stripes, black jeans, headphones, and black glasses. The teen was seen walking away from the group with an unknown older black man wearing a black Kangol hat with a salt and pepper moustache.
