BATON ROUGE — Baton Rouge Police are investigating a deadly overnight shooting. Authorities say it happened around 1:35 a.m. on June 4 in the 2500 block of 73rd Avenue.
When officers got to the scene they found the victim, identified as 27-year-old Eric Lathers, inside a vehicle deceased from gunshot wounds.
Investigators don’t have a suspect or motive at this time. This is an ongoing investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 225-344-7867.
