29-year-old killed after shooting outside convenience store

BATON ROUGE — Baton Rouge Police are investigating the latest homicide in the city.

It happened around 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26 at the corner of North Acadian Thruway and Bogan Walk St. outside a convenience store.

Patrick White, 29, of Baton Rouge was found shot in the head on the ground. He was rushed to a hospital in critical condition, but died from his injuries on Thursday morning.

Officials say there appears to have been an argument outside the store that led up to the shooting. At this time, police do not have any motives and no arrests have been made.
