BATON ROUGE — A 30-year-old woman is now behind bars, arrested for kidnapping and murder charges in the beating death of her boyfriend.
Breanna Terrance is accused of driving her 73-year-old boyfriend Woodrow Vaughn to a convenience store on Highland Rd. on Nov. 21, 2025 in the middle of night. There, she is accused of beating Vaughn, according to sources.
Terrance is then accused of driving away from the convenience store.
Vaughn’s family had reported him missing to the Baton Rouge Police Dept. on Nov. 21, 2025.
On Nov. 24th, a vehicle was found in the BREC Park off of Lafitte Drive. Sources say that Vaughn’s body was inside of that vehicle.
Terrance has since been arrested and charged with battery of a dating partner and later, her charges were upgraded to include first-degree murder, second-degree kidnapping and obstruction of justice.
Baton Rouge Police is the lead on the case. No further details have been released at this time, including the name of the other individual allegedly involved.
