SLAUGHTER — The Guardian Foundation is inviting the community to the 3rd Annual Guardian event, an annual fundraiser organized to support first responders and their families.

This year’s event will be held on Saturday, May 18th with gates opening at 10:00 a.m. at the Firmin Barn in Slaughter, Louisiana. It will feature live music, food, drinks, a car show and silent auction, and much more. All proceeds from the event will benefit Guardian Foundation, which provides financial assistance and other support services to first responders and their families.

“We go in when there’s a traumatic illness or injury and we help those people out. We hope that we’re making a difference in their lives.” a representative said.

First responders play a vital role in their respective communities, putting their lives on the line every day to protect people. The Guardian Day event is an opportunity for everyone to show their appreciation for their service and to support the families who stand by them.
