Two juveniles, a 9-yr-old boy and a 15-yr-old girl, were serious injured after an accident while riding their side-by-side. The 9-yr-old boy has since died of his injuries.
It happened at the foot of the levee in St. Gabriel in Iberville Parish Saturday, Sept. 17th around 10am, according to the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Brett Stassi said the children did suffer significant injuries and both were transported to a hospital. The 15-yr-old was airlifted and is expected to recover. The young boy died shortly after arriving at the hospital.
