BATON ROUGE — An East Baton Rouge Parish investigation involving fentanyl ended with an accused “Muscle Gang” member arrested in Livingston Parish. East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office’s Gang Intelligence and Enforcement Unit (GIE), with EBRSO SCAT, launched an investigation into Rodney Davis in October after receiving information that he was allegedly selling fentanyl and cocaine in the Gardere Lane area.
During their investigation, agents conducted surveillance on four homes allegedly associated with drug activity. Deputies say they purchased fentanyl and cocaine from Davis. The GIE agents were able to get an arrest warrant for Davis and search warrants for multiple homes in multiple parishes, along with his vehicle.
On Wednesday, Nov. 12, Davis was arrested at his home in Denham Springs.
Other addresses searched were in Baton Rouge, Denham Springs, St. Gabriel and Port Allen by their corresponding agencies.

-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
According to EBRSO, Davis was previously convicted of possession of cocaine, possession of codeine, and possession with the intent to distribute marijuana on 02/15/2017 (5 years DOC sus / 3 years probation); of domestic abuse battery on 02/21/2024 (60 days PP Sus / 90 days probation); and of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon on Feb. 19, 2025.
Davis is currently on bond in Livingston Parish for an arrest from Sept. 19, 2025. He is currently on probation until Feb. 19, 2028 for the possession of a firearm by a convicted felon conviction.
