PRAIRIEVILLE — Two teenagers have now been arrested in connection to a homicide on I-10 in Prairieville that occured in March.
Investigators believe that Aniyah Williams, 18, and Quinndarius Dabney, 19, “orchestrated” the death of Chakerus Hamilton Jr. inside his vehicle.
Hamilton was found shot dead inside his car on the eastbound side of I-10 around 3 a.m. on March 29. Detectives say that Williams and Dabney knew Hamilton.

Williams was arrested and booked into the Ascension Parish Jail. Dabney was apprehended by the US Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force and will be transported to the Ascension Parish Jail.
Dabney, who is from Donaldsonville, is charged with first-degree murder, assault by drive by shooting, illegal use of weapons and aggravated damage to property. Williams, who is from Baton Rouge, is charged with principle to first-degree murder, assault by drive by shooting, illegal use of weapons and aggravated damage to property.
