BATON ROUGE — Baton Rouge Police are investigating a deadly shooting that started with an argument and ended with a shooting.
It was around 11:20 p.m. on Monday, April 28 when BRPD officers responded to the Amazon facility at 9001 Cortana Place for a shooting.
Officers learned two Amazon employees got into a verbal and physical argument outside the main entrance of the facility, but within the Amazon gates. During the argument, Daylon Anthony, 21, was shot and died on the scene.
The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived. He turned himself into BRPD on Wednesday morning and has been identified as Carlgene Nash, 18. He’s charged with second-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon. (His mugshot has not been released at this time)
