Officials responded to a reported shooting on Quarters Lake Rd. on Wednesday morning that allegedly stemmed from a disagreement between multiple people.
Authorities say the incident started around 10:30 a.m. with an argument in a beauty shop parking lot near Essen Lane.
A man and a woman allegedly used a bat and busted the window on someone else’s vehicle. Officials said the woman who busted the window and another woman then started shooting at each other.
One bullet hit the man in the leg. He was taken to the hospital to treat his injury that’s considered non life-threatening.
All three have been detained, according to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office.
