Argument over laptop leads to stabbing & property damage with steel pipe

PAINCOURTVILLE, La: A laptop seems to be the root cause of a 20-year-old woman turning herself in on an outstanding warrant. Faith Nicole Johnson is accused of chasing & stabbing a man and damaging his property with a steel pipe on Dec. 5th.

Johnson turned herself Wednesday to the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office after a warrant was issued for her arrest for her alleged involvement in the stabbing of a man. The victim told the sheriff’s office that Johnson and two other women came to his Paincourtville home and when he went outside Johnson, started to chase him.

Officials say it was all over a laptop, but did not specify what about the laptop.

The victim claims he eventually fell to the ground and Johnson started swinging the knife at him and left a deep stabbing to his finger.

Before leaving, officials said Johnson is accused of damaging the man’s home where he was staying with a steel pipe.

Johnson left the area, and the victim went to a local hospital for treatment where he was later interviewed by the deputies.

He claims Johnson and himself were involved in an ongoing argument before the Dec. 5th stabbing incident.

Faith Nicole Johnson remains at the Assumption Parish Detention Center with a $50,000 bond for aggravated battery for allegedly beating a man with a pipe.
