Arrangements set for 3 Southern Human Jukebox members

Funeral arrangements for the three Southern Unversity band members killed in North Louisiana will be this week in Texas.

Services for Broderick Moore will be at Grace Place Church (520 Big Stone Gap in Duncanville, Texas) on Tuesday, Dec. 13. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. and service begins at 6 p.m.

Funeral services for Tyran Williams will be at Potter’s House of Dallas (6777 W. Keist Boulevard in Dallas, Texas) on Thursday, Dec. 15. Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to noon and service will begin at noon. Those in attendance are asked not to take photographs.

Funeral services for Dylan Young will be at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship (1908 W. Camp Wisdom Road in Dallas, Texas) on Friday, Dec. 16. Service will begin at 11 a.m.

The trio was changing a flat tire on a 1999 Jeep Laredo that stalled on the northbound shoulder of I-49 on Dec. 7, when a big rig drifted off the road and hit the left side of the jeep.

The 1997 Freightliner was driven by 62-year-old Clyde Gay. Officials are still trying to figure out why he drifted out of the lane.

Williams, Young and Moore all died at the scene, and Gay, who was buckled, suffered no injuries.
