Arrest made in cases of attempted kidnappings of two children at bus stops

Baton Rouge Police arrested Hunter Talley, 26, on Tuesday, Sept. 6th for his alleged involvement in two separate incidents that involved two 13-yr-old girls as victims.

They happened on Sept. 1st and Sept. 2nd, 2022 at school bus pick-up in the 4200 block of Mohican Prescott Crossover St. in Baton Rouge around 7am, as the children were waiting for the school buses.

On Sept. 1, 2022, Talley is accused of pointing a gun at the young girl, calling her to his vehicle, groping her and then driving off. The next morning, Talley allegedly pointed a gun at another girl and the girl fled to neighbor where she called police.

On Sept. 2nd, officers found the car Talley was in less than a mile away from the alleged incidents. Officers discovered the car was stolen. He was taken into custody.

Talley was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on two counts of aggravated assault with a firearm and one count of indecent behavior with a juvenile.
