Baton Rouge Police arrested the man accused of fatally shooting Keandre Williams on West McKinley Street on Sept. 21.
BRPD detectives arrested Alvin Allen III in connection with Williams’ death.
Law enforcement responded to the call on Sept. 21 at around 11:30 p.m. Officials say Williams arrived at the home on West McKinley to visit a woman he knew.
While the two were inside, Allen arrived and forced the door open with a gun in his hand. Officials say Allen shot Williams multiple times before leaving. Williams died at the scene.
Deputies booked Allen in the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on first-degree murder, home invasion and illegal use of a weapon charges.
