GONZALES — Two teenagers are facing charges after a fight broke out after school at East Ascension High School on Monday, Aug. 31.
The teens, ages 15 and 16, got into a fight after the final bell rang on campus Monday at East Ascension High School, Gonzales Police Dept. said. The GPD School Resource Officer assigned to the school, along with GPD officers, responded to the school.
One of the teenagers was transported to a hospital for their injuries in the fight.
GPD says both teenagers are facing charges for disturbing the peace and simple battery.
Because those involved are juveniles, their names and mugshots will not be released, and GPD said no further details will be released.
