The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office has identified the body found along Hwy. 941 on June 17, 2022.
The body was identified as Deon Foster, 43. APSO said the initial autopsy reveals no signs of trauma to the body, but the coroner’s office is awaiting a toxicology report.
The body was found around 9:30am on Friday, June 17th by a family passing by. The family noticed a man on the side of the road by the ditch.
That’s when APSO was alerted and responded.
