Ascension investigating deadly shooting in Donaldsonville

Around 11:45pm on May 30th, Ascension Parish deputies responded to the 200 block of W. Second St. in Donaldsonville for a shooting.

Upon arrival, deputies found Cedrick Mumphrey, 37, outside the address suffering from multiple gunshots wounds. Mumphrey was transported to Prevost Memorial Hospital where he died of his injuries.

Sources tell Unfiltered with Kiran that officials found about 45 shell casings on the scene.
