Ascension investigating self-reported stabbing

The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a stabbing.

As of now, it appears someone showed up in the Petco & Lit parking lot area on Airline Hwy. around 1pm saying he had been stabbed. The call came from the Lit Pizza, but he was not shot at the pizza restaurant.

When deputies arrived, he would not cooperate and tell deputies who stabbed him. All he would say is that some friends were playing with a knife when he ended up stabbed.

He was taken to a hospital. This case remains under investigation.

There was no shooting at this location although some people are saying there was a shooting at Lit Pizza.
