Search underway for ‘armed & dangerous’ suspect in gas station robbery

ASCENSION PARISH — A search is underway for the suspect behind an armed robbery at a Geismar gas station on Monday.

The robbery occurred at a gas station along Hwy. 73 in Dutchtown. Investigators have not released the name of the specific gas station where the robbery took place. They describe the suspect seen in surveillance photos as “armed and dangerous.”

The surveillance photos, released by investigators, show the suspect’s face, and authorities hope they will assist detectives in locating the suspect.
