Ascension requesting help finding missing 79-yr-old

UPDATE: Carolyn Bush has been found!

Carolyn Bush, 79, of Prairville was last seen leaving her home on John Broussard Road Thursday around 2:00pm in a white truck. Family has advised that Carolyn Bush does suffer from dementia and may not have taken prescribed medication today, per the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office.

She’s described as a white female with gray hair, brown eyes, about 5’4” and weighs roughly 170lbs.

Bush’s son told deputies his mom’s phone is turned off and there is no way to track her.

Bush is traveling in a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 (white in color, LA #B541787). It is unknown where she is traveling to at this time.

If you have any information that can assist deputies with locating her, please contact the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office immediately.
