LABADIEVILLE – Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s deputies arrested a woman after an incident at her ex-boyfriend’s apartment in Assumption Parish. Casey Turner, 34, was arrested by Lafourche Parish sheriff’s deputies because the alleged incident happened in Assumption Parish, but she lives in Raceland, which is in Lafourche Parish. She’s now facing multiple felony charges.
According to officials, deputies went to a home in the 500 block of South Holly Road on Sept. 26th in Labadieville, where they say they met with the alleged victim. That man told deputies that his ex-girlfriend allegedly forced herself into his home and damaged his personal property.
The suspect, identified as Casey Turner, is also accused of damaging the man’s vehicle, causing thousands of dollars worth of damage, and allegedly stole multiple items from the home. After she left, deputies say she ‘electronically sent photos’ to the victim of what she had done.
After their investigation, deputies got a search warrant for Turner. She was arrested by Lafourche deputies on Tuesday, Oct. 1. Turner was then turned over to the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office and faces the following charges:
*Theft (5 counts)
*Simple criminal damage to property (3 counts)
*Simple burglary
Turner is in the Assumption Parish Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
