Baker man arrested, accused of raping a juvenile

Investigators arrested a Baker man accused of raping a young child and producing child pornography.

The Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrested Christopher Morgan, 31, and charged him with two counts of first-degree rape of a victim under age 13 and two counts of production of pornography involving juveniles.

According to arrest documents, a detective went undercover and posed as a 28-year-old mother who had an 8-year-old daughter. The detective communicated with Morgan through the Kik messenging app.

Morgan allegedly sent pornographic images with girls under 10 years old to the undercover detective.

Through various messages, Morgan allegedly admitted to having sexual intercourse multiple girls under 13 years old.


The Bureau arrested Morgan and he was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. His bond has not yet been set.

If convicted, Morgan could face between 25 and 99 years in prison.
