BATON ROUGE —- A shooting Thursday night at a convenience store has left a 15-year-old dead.
The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. at Brown’s One Stop Convenience Store on N. Acadian Thruway on April 10, per Baton Rouge Police.
A 15-year-old, Tyler McWilliams, ended up shot and was transported to a hospital. That’s how Baton Rouge Police officers were alerted to the shooting when officials at Baton Rouge General Hospital called officers for a gunshot victim.
Officers were unable to speak to McWilliams Thursday night due to his injuries. On Friday, Williams died from his injuries.
At this time, police do not have a motive or any suspect(s).
