BATON ROUGE — The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly shooting that happened overnight.
It was around 12:30 a.m. on Nov. 14 when deputies responded to Old Rafe Mayer Rd. off of Scenic Hwy.
Deputies found Clarence Jackson III, 21, lying in the front yard.
Jackson died on the scene from his injuries.
EBRSO says their investigation is ongoing. There is no motive at this time on what led up to the deadly shooting.
Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 344-STOP.
