BATON ROUGE — Baton Rouge Police officers arrested one person after a deadly shooting back in May left a 21-year-old man dead inside a vehicle.
It was close to 2 a.m. on May 5 when Baton Rouge Police officers responded to I-10 westbound at the Perkins Rd. exit ramp near a convenience store.
At the scene, officers found Nolan Allen IV, 21, who appeared to have been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Homicide detectives arrested 24-year-old Byron Thibodeaux Jr. for his involvement in Allen’s shooting death. Thibodeaux was booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison for second-degree murder and illegal use of a
weapon.
