BATON ROUGE —- City officers are investigating the latest shooting in Baton Rouge that left a man dead. The victim has been identified as a 21-year-old man.
It happened Saturday, August 1, around 7:30 p.m. inside an apartment on Ryder Dr. That’s tucked behind Perkins Rd. & Staring Lane.
Officers responded to the scene to find a man shot multiple times in the apartment. He died on the scene, UWK has learned.
The coroner’s office has identified the victim as 21-year-old Jaylin Dabney.
It’s unclear if any arrests have been made and the motive is unknown at this time.
Anyone with information on the deadly shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 344-STOP.
