BATON ROUGE — A 25-year-old man was killed in a shooting Wednesday afternoon with over 30 rounds fired and the alleged suspects driving off.
It was around 4:30 PM when Baton Rouge Police officers responded to Tennessee Street and E. Buchanan St., that’s near Thomas Delpit Drive, for a shooting.
At the scene, officers found Kyron Carter, dead from a gunshot wound to the head.
Officers were alerted to the scene thanks to the shotspotter technology, indicating over 30 rounds fired at the scene. A vehicle with multiple people fled the scene.
At the time, no details have been released as to what led up to the shooting or if there are any suspects.
