BATON ROUGE — A man is in critical condition after he was hit and run over early Tuesday morning.
It was around 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 9 when officials responded to Greenwell Springs Rd. near Lone Oak Dr. in Baton Rouge for a man on a bicycle who had been hit by a vehicle.
UWK is told the bicyclist was hit by several vehicles. He was rushed to a hospital with numerous injuries and was listed in critical condition.
BRPD is investigating the scene. Officers have not released any details including what led up to the crash.
It’s unclear at this time if BRPD has made any arrests or has anyone in custody.
