BATON ROUGE — Baton Rouge Police is investigating a fatal shooting that happened late Friday around 10 p.m. A 32-year-old man died of his injuries in the shooting.
Baton Rouge Police officers responded around 10 p.m. on Jan. 23rd to a shooting in the 2100 block of Virginia Street. Once there, patrol officers found 32-year-old Lathan Wheeler in the home dead from an apparent gunshot wound, per BRPD.
At this time, there are no motives or suspects.
The investigation remains ongoing.
