Baton Rouge teacher charged with indecent behavior with a student

BATON ROUGE — A Baton Rouge teacher has been charged with having an inappropriate relationship with a student at a local school, Baton Rouge police said.

Corey Nash, 48, was arrested Friday night and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. The victim reported the incident to BRPD on May 24. Detectives say the victim was sexually assaulted between 2009-2011.

So far, police have not released the name of the school, only noting that it is a “local school”. Police are investigating whether there could be potentially more victims.
