BATON ROUGE–On Oct. 11, 2023, the Better Business Bureau of Baton Rouge issued a statement regarding donation of funds and materials for relief efforts in Israel and Gaza.
The BBB-BR report is related to those looking to help victims and families in the Israel and Gaza conflict. Saturday, Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas militants from Gaza launched a surprise attack against Israel. Multiple media outlets reported over 900 deaths, more than 1000 wounded, and more than 100 Israeli hostages. Israel declared war on Hamas, and nearly 600 Palestinians were killed from an airstrike.
