BATON ROUGE — Baton Rouge, get ready to rev your engines! The Junior League of Baton Rouge is gearing up for the 10th annual Touch-A-Truck event as it rolls into town on Saturday, March 22, 2025.
This fan-favorite fundraiser isn’t just about trucks—it’s an action-packed adventure where kids can see, touch, and climb inside massive construction rigs, emergency vehicles, military transporters, towering cranes, and more.
The event is set to feature over 50 vehicles, a petting zoo, face painting, live entertainment, along with a DJ.
“Touch A Truck is turning 10 this year, and we’re so excited to celebrate with the community. I’ve been bringing my son to Touch A Truck since he was one, so this event really means a lot to me,” said a representative for the Junior League of Baton Rouge.
From fire trucks to forklifts, each vehicle has a story to tell, and kids will have a hands-on chance to explore them all. But there’s also a special feature designed to make the event inclusive for all children.
“Our Quiet Hours [9-11 a.m.] allow children of all ages and sensory sensitivities to enjoy the fun of Touch A Truck without horns honking or sirens blaring,” she shared.
Local school performing arts groups will hit the stage alongside a live DJ, bringing even more excitement to the event.
“There are 75 vehicles this year—the largest number ever! We wanted this year to be a big deal for our ‘Big 10’ Anniversary,” she said enthusiastically.

“Tickets are $10 and includes everything you’ll need for a day of family fun: food, activities, treats like popcorn and cotton candy, face painting, the petting zoo, and all of the big TRUCKS!” she said.
