BATON ROUGE — Baton Rouge Police are investigating after a body was found inside a home Thursday morning. Sources tell UWK that the man was shot multiple times.

Police received a call around 10:30 a.m. on June 13 regarding a resident on Pocahontas St. who had not been seen in several days. Officers arrived in the 2200 block of Pocahontas St. and discovered the body of a man inside a home. The scene is near Choctaw Dr. and the Governor’s Mansion curve off I-110 in north Baton Rouge.

The incident is being investigated as a homicide, UWK is told. The victim has not been identified, and there is no information yet on a suspect or suspects.
