BR: Double shooting victims found on I-10 & rushed to hospital

Scotlandville shooting scene

Around 9:30pm on Tuesday, Oct. 11th, there was a shooting in North Baton Rouge.

Early reports indicate after two people were shot in the Scotlandville area in Baton Rouge, they were being driven to a hospital on I-10 eastbound when the driver may have run out of gas.

That’s when officers found the two people suffering from gunshot wounds.

One of the victims, who was shot in the face, was actually transported to a hospital by a BRPD officer in his/her police car.

The other victim, shot in the leg, was transported by EMS.

Their current conditions are unknown at this time.

Details on the actual shooting are limited and once more becomes available, the story will be updated.
