BR Home invasion: Victim says suspect said “just shoot her” as she was running away

A teen was reportedly alone in her Baton Rouge apartment when she told police two men broke in and she ran for her safety.

A 19-yr-old woman called police after a reported home invasion on S. Brightside View around 8pm July 9.

Sources said the victim ran out of her apartment during a home invasion robbery.

The victim told officers that she was home alone when two unknown men kicked in her front door and got into her apartment. She went on to say that once inside, they took her purse and phone before hitting her in the mouth.

That’s when sources said she ran away for her own safety. As she was running away, she said she heard one of the suspects say, “…just shoot her.”

No further details on the two men accused of the home invasion.
