One person was shot and killed early Saturday morning, Nov. 5th. on N. Sherwood Forest Dr.

It was just before 3am at the Towne Oaks Apartments when Baton Rouge Police Officers responded for a shooting.

They found a man who had been shot in the head and died on the scene. His name has not been released at this time.

Just half an hour prior to the homicide, there was an unrelated double shooting at the Circle K on College Dr. BRPD officers responded for a shots fired call but said they could not find any evidence of a shooting.

Then, nearly an hour later, East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Deputies alerted BRPD that they found two shooting victims on S. Harrell’s Ferry Rd. Both said they had been shot at the Circle K on College Dr. and EBRSO said they did find the scene at the Circle K.

BRPD responded back to the Circle K and the two shooting victims were already taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
