There have been at least three shootings in Baton Rouge on Thursday, July 14th, one of them being a homicide.
It was around 4:30am when officers responded to North St. in Baton Rouge for a shooting. They found a man deceased on the ground.
Sources said 55 shots were fired killing Julius Thomas, 32, on the scene. Sources added Thomas had 43 holes in his body from bullets.
Around 1am on Blount Rd., a woman said she was watching television when a bullet came through her bedroom. She ended up shot in her foot.
Around 2pm on Gus Young, a teenager was shot in the leg.
That makes three shootings, not including any calls for shots fired, just in one day in Baton Rouge.
