BATON ROUGE — A 44-yr-old Baton Rouge man has been arrested and charged with 100 counts of pornography involving children along with other charges.
Michael Eugene Walker, of Coursey Blvd. in Baton Rouge, was arrested on June 26 after a joint investigation. It started after officials were notified by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children to possible improper files.

Investigators were able to find Walker’s usernames and email addresses to backtrack to his drives where they found nearly 1,000 pictures, many with child sexual abuse material on them. Hundreds of the pictures were young boys engaging in sexual acts while other pictures were selfies of Walker, according to arresting documents.
Officials documented that the pictures were uploaded between 2019 to the summer of 2020 but were being accessed as late as January & February 2023.
Warrants were drawn up for Walker, who was arrested on Monday. He’s facing 100 counts of pornography involving children (juveniles) and one count of unauthorized use of a wireless router system, pornography involving juveniles.
His bond has not been set at this time.
