A high school was placed on lockdown as a precautionary measure after nearly 70 rounds were fired nearby.
It was around 2pm when multiple shot spotters went off alerting police officers to dozens of shots fired by various guns.
Pictures of the scene show several evidence markers spread out over a few blocks. Each marker is a shell casing. Plus, officers were searching nearby areas to ensure they did not miss any shell casings.

It happened in the 600 block of East McKinley St. near Thomas Delpit. That’s 0.1 miles from McKinley High School, which is why the school was placed on a temporary lockdown.
