Baton Rouge Police officers had found a stolen vehicle in the 3700 block of E. Brookstown Dr. around 2:30pm. It’s why a large perimeter was set up around the area and the department’s helicopter was flying around.
Four people are said to have been in the vehicle and three of them fled. Two of the four did run off to the Meadowbrook Apartments while armed.
So far, two of the three who fled are in custody and being detained for questioning. Officers continue looking for the third person.
Officers did find weapons on the vehicle.
