An investigation that started in an online chat room with an undercover FBI agent ended with the arrest of a Baton Rouge transgender individual.
Kalen Woodard, 28, was arrested Dec. 15th on three counts of pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13.
The investigation was conducted by the FBI and Louisiana State Police. After the private online chat, officials say the tip was forwarded to the FBI office in New Orleans.
In the chat on Sept. 23, 2021, Woodard, who said she was a female transvestite, told the agent she had “been active with her nephew and niece in the past.”
During the investigation, officials were able to match her email address and online user name to what was used with the conversation with the undercover agent. During that chat, officials said Woodard sent a video and picture containing child sexual abuse material.
After her arrest, Woodard admitted to officials that she “enjoys ‘incest porn’ and admitted to being sexually aroused by children of all ages performing sexual acts.” She even admitted to officials that she viewed child sexual abuse material from all ages including babies.
