BATON ROUGE — Interstate 110 southbound has reopened after a two-vehicle crash, one of them involved an East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s deputy.
The crash happened on Interstate 110 at the Governor’s Mansion Curve near Capitol Access Rd. around 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 26th.
Details of what led up to the crash have not been released at this time, but UWK has learned the crash involved a pick-up truck and an unmarked EBRSO unit. After impact, the EBRSO police car went up in flames.
Both drivers were rushed to a hospital. Both have non-life threatening injuries.
It’s why the interstate was down to one lane.
