BRPD finds itself a victim of the increasing crime

The Baton Rouge Police headquarters was broken into Saturday afternoon and a 30-yr-old arrested for burglary.

The Baton Rouge Police Department appears to be the latest victim of a burglary in the Capital City.

Around 12:30 on Saturday, Feb. 5th, BRPD officers responded to a burglary in progress. That’s when officers found Tuan Minh Nguyen, 30, allegedly with several BRPD items.

Plus, the glass on the first floor of BRPD headquarters was shattered with visible signs of things moved around and damaged in the room.

Nguyen was found with several of BRPD’s electronics and other items. The 30-yr-old has been arrested.
