BATON ROUGE — Baton Rouge Police homicide detectives are investigating a deadly shooting that happened on Jan. 27, around 5:45 p.m.
Police were called to the scene in the 2500 block of North Street on Tuesday evening where they found 36-year-old Timothy Elbert lying in the road with at least one gunshot wound. Elbert was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
