Baton Rouge Police officers responded to a hotel off of Sherwood Forest Boulevard for a deadly shooting.
It happened around 11am at 11314 Boardwalk Dr. on Wednesday, Dec. 14th. That’s the Fair Bridge Inn Express Hotel.
Several shots were reported in the area. Sedrick Lewis, 37, was shot and when officials arrived, they found Lewis not breathing and dead from multiple shots.
Maurice Mallory, 27, was arrested by the U.S. Marshal’s Task Force accused of Lewis’ murder.
