Baton Rouge Police are responding to a homicide in the parking lot of Benny’s on Perkins Rd.
It happened around 1:30pm with a man shot.
The coroner’s office is en route to the scene as the victim has died from his injuries.
This is the second homicide at Benny’s since last year. In June 2021, a person was shot and killed at the same location.
Sources said the victim was vacuuming his car out when he was shot by someone who pulled up next to him. Sources added he had two kids in vehicle. Neither were hurt.
