BATON ROUGE —- A shootout outside a business on Airline Highway left three people shot.
It happened around 4am in the 4300 block of Airline Hwy. That’s near the intersection of Airline Hwy. & Plank Rd. at the Main Attraction Event Center.
Baton Rouge Police responded to the scene after calls for a shooting. Early reports are it was a drive-by shooting.
On the scene, they found three people who had been shot. All three had non-life threatening injuries. All three were transported to a hospital, two by EMS and one went on their own.
Officers also found more than two dozen shell casings on the scene and even a few vehicles that had multiple bullet holes.
It’s unknown at this time what led up to the shooting or if any arrests have been made.
